Hello! I hope everyone is doing well! Today's post is my final contribution for the #sewmaxiformothersday challenge on Instagram! I made a maxi dress by using the sewing pattern Simplicity 8912! I have had this pattern in my stash for a while and I purchased it because I loved how the model looked on the cover and I wanted to duplicate it! I really love how the dress turned out (you can watch the full YouTube review by clicking here)! I don't have very many maxi dresses in my wardrobe so this is perfect! What I love about it most is how simple and easy it was to make and the appliques that I applied to the front! Below you will find pictures and a full review!

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope? Yes, however, you can be the judge.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I liked how simple it was to make. There were no closures like a zipper or buttons that needed to be used. I also like how the pattern cover gave the idea of adding the appliques on the dress to dress it up due to its simplicity, so I did the same.
Fabric Used: Double gauze
Alterations or changes: None
Would you recommend it to others? Yes
