April Sewing Plans
Happy Sunday!!! I hope you are having an amazing day!! Today's post goes over my April Sewing Plans!!! I have sweet and simple plans but enough to keep me busy in the sewing world! To watch my plans video, which has more detials, please click here or on the video below.
Plan #1 For my first plan I am going to make Simplicity 9136. I really like this pattern and I feel like it will come together pretty quickly! The feature that I like most about this pattern are the raglan sleeves. I think I will sew view A, and I am also considering contrasting the sleeves.
Plan #2 April is my husband’s birthday month and I did not get a chance to be able to make his birthday shirt in March sooooo, I will be making it this month! To make his shirt, I am going to use McCall’s 6044 and I am going to make view B, which includes contrasting the collar stand, contrasting the cuffs and I am also going to add a contrasting button placket. I am excited to get this made and my husband is excited too!!
Plan #3 For my last plan, I want to start on my maxi dresses for the Sew Maxi for Mother’s Day challenge, which actually kicks off today! As of right now, I am undecided as to which pattern I want to use to make my dresses but by the end of the month, I will know and I will share that with you at that time. So for now, those are my April sewing plans!!! Let me know in the comments what you think about my plans and thank you for taking the time to read!
