Simplicity 8292

Today’s post is about this Simplicity dress that I made using pattern number 8292 Misses’/Miss Petite Dresses.

This is another dress that I was really drawn to but I passed up the pattern several times until a saw the results from others on Instagram.

The pattern was easy to cut out and put together and I love how there were many seams to add detail to the dress.

I did not line the dress (which the pattern called for), because I used scuba knit.
One detail that I added that was not on the instructions was the bias binding.
I used this as a trim on the sleeves and the neckline because I thought it would make the dress pop since the dress was all black.

Although I like the dress, it was easy to make and I do think it’s pretty, I don’t like how the style of it looks on me.

Below you will find the pattern review below that describes the details while making this garment!!
