Let’s Go Retro 2017 Challenge!!
Today’s post is all about a fun Instagram sew-along Challenge that was hosted by @thatssewrochelle and @naturaldane!!
The challenge was to make a view of Butterick’s 6318 and post the finished garment on Instagram on May 29th!
The fabric that I selected to make my dress out of is a white leopard print and my sash is red. Both fabrics are made of 100% cotton.
I did have one hiccup….. The bottom portion of my dress was made out of a solid black fabric because the fabric cut that I ordered was sent incorrectly. I loved the print so much that I wanted to incorporate the fabric anyway so I decided to finish the dress using the two different fabrics.
